Dancing on the Shore

A stack of seed-sorting boxes were given me by a friend (at least,
that's what she said they were for). I thank her for these simple
structures, which allow 3-part
design.
In this work, I've chosen to use a tinted fragment of wood, plus a
painted scrap of deteriorated plywood--a material that delights me with its
contrasting layers of shape.
In the upper squares are toy-like souvenirs of the beach. Do you
collect these also? A coil, a disc, a metal brush and a cone with a
marble......as often happens, these "bits" volunteer to share their forms
and colours.
