Beyond Time & Tide

Inspired by a Maui vacation, a round wooden form has been painted
a tropical turquoise and embraced by an ivory comb ("beach-combing"
perhaps?). Volcanic smoke trails across the top of the arrangement, with
"native" drum sticks (and a real one), ivory triangles, and a rust-coloured
plastic disk.
The background is a pastel-hued painting. The title refers to
Hawaii--an environment magically offering simple beauty, tranquility & joy.
